Basilbrush no you don’t have to be on photobucket to view all the photos, it’s just if the person who put the photos on then deletes them from their photobucket file, the image is also lost on here.

A couple here from Stanfield.

Jack conroy at blaxton quarry 1983…A989CAL .

ive just joined today, and found this post about tarmac tippers.
am a truck model builder, and ive been after couple of photographs of a tarmac bedford tm narrow cab ridge tipper.
to build a 1/24th model,as in the early 1980’s i used to see them every day, when i use to see them on the road when going and coming home from school.
when they use to operate from the local depot,in captains road, gilmerton,in edinburgh scotland.and seing the old tarmac tipper photos here, have brought back fond mermories of those lovely bedfords.
please please can someone help me find a photo,of one of theses trucks in the orignal kiaki colour.
either post them here or to my email address modelsrus170@yahoo.co.uk
many thanks in advance,
kenny mcgeechan.

Sorry thhere not old one’s Bonkey.

Sorry it’s not the main focus of the pic, but this one belonged to a guy my dad knocked about with called Kirby or Herbie I think, he had a smart Constructor 30.25 before the FL10. This would be Brands Hatch 1992-ish

Steve

Just the one from me

John

Hi Bonkey
Here’s one for you mate.1947 model Ford model 7V 5tonner was new to Tarmac Ltd @ their Corby depot. This vehicle has been restored and returned to the Tarmac livery of the day and was photographed in 1992.
John

That’s a great shot mate, but the one that does it for me is your previous pic/post with the Constructor tipping into the barber green. If it was M/cr based, my guess is it was loaded from Agecroft.

Just can’t beat the working shots. :sunglasses:

HI BD-- will keep looking and posting for you mate.
John

Here’s an oldie for you Bonkey. Not exactly Tarmac but it carried it.
John

Hi BD. Found this in Heritage Commercials Mag.
