No it’s actually in Clapcott’s yard at Totton near Southampton, the tank in the background is a water tank for the yard behind.
I seem to recall this is a dodgy spot to tip when it’s windy. The wind whistles round those silos.
ahhh tip tanks will look up some of my pics from freund days when im home next

Had the pleasure ■■ of running sulphur Fawley to Stavely every day for a couple of years up till it closed, and then to Rocksavage works at Runcorn for a while, followed by a few months of running it to France. At least there were no cleanouts with sulphur barrels.

hi ADR when i worked at AP in the 70s and 80s we had Hydrogen tankers coming into England from Holland but were driven and operated by the Dutch drivers,they did send acouple of drivers to train up on Hydrogen but it only lasted a few weeks, they did,nt drive only went shotgun?? why i never found out. Not British I know, but a lot of us have driven for Dutch firms, someone might like a look! Thats my Air Products tanker in the background, photo taken outside Sheerness Steel Works where I had just delivered a load of Liquid Oxygen on a Sunday in the early 90s.
I must know you as i was still working for AP in the early 90s !! as i retired in 96 and i,ve delivered lox many times to sheerness.

Had to drop into our main HQ to the workshop in Worcester, my Scanny was the last 6 wheeler done in Cryo’s colours, here’s another new 1 I’m parked next to just having the flow-meter calibrated before it goes to its new home whichever 1 of our depots that will be! They all being done in AP colours now!

The yard you mention was attached to the main site of Smiths of Eccles, Smiths used it regularly and when TDG moved in they parked a few rolled tankers and VOR kit there. Pickfords/Tankfreight was on the side nearest Dumplington circle and Massey Ferguson tractors on the other side
