Very nice photos of trucks posted by someone who’s no longer the holder of a licence to drive them.
Order one of these, perhaps you could keep this one on the road.
Ooooooo ya ■■■■■. So cutting………gonna take me a while to recover from this pounding
When you’ve finished playing on you’re new pink bike read your [zb]ing PMs!

I can see his point really easily and its a thoughtful one too - just cos theres a payrise doesnt mean its a good thing for the economy.
I know its hard to grasp the nuance but do try cos its worth it.
I suppose an analogy is with people who graffiti - yeah im sure to you it looks great and you express whats in your soul…but come morning somebodys got to clean it all up.
Ah…the Remain apologist obviously sees the point.
'Course…the nuance would also require one to see that wage suppression is ALSO unhealthy for the economy…never mind unhealthy for an ageing industry desperate to attract new blood.

Do you enjoy being saucy to complete strangers?
Hgv driver payrates are important to hgv drivers - but there are larger things at stake.
See? No need to call you names, just state an opinion and be friendly with it.
Saucy?
No idea what your point is.
I simply pointed out your inherent bias and lack of objectivity.
If that’s a problem for you, please, please, please Google the Samaritans.

If you were “right” and you “beat me” in the “argument” would you put your head on the pillow feeling any happier tonight? You dont do you. I know. Even if you “win” an internet argument you still feel dead inside.
Its not really worth being sarcastic is it? I might be a really nice bloke with a disabled kid to take care of. Just cos we disagree on something doesnt mean i have to try and insult you.

How are so few on here (and only here) not getting what was a fairly basic point I made? Let’s try again. My point was I didn’t vote and wouldn’t vote just because it was more money. My belief rightly or wrongly is that Brexit will do much more harm to the country in the long term that it’ll likely negate any boosts our pay has now. The higher one costs too much in the long run. Simple opinion, I hope I’m wrong, but I’d never vote on a single issue least of all something as fickle as an hourly rate.
I don’t agree that voting primarily to reverse 15 years of declining living standards is “fickle”. Neither do I believe there will be long-term harm from Brexit. Every single prediction Remoaners made about the likely impact of Brexit has proved to be wrong and I’m not expecting anything different here.
Although I believe your views are genuinely held and not “trolling” as has been suggested I also believe your support for the eu is analogous to the 1950s Soviet peasant standing outside his wooden hovel and waving his pennant at Stalin’s motorcade as it passes by. It is a quasi-religious faith and flag worship and cannot be overturned regardless of what evidence is presented to debunk it.
Given the pay rises we are currently receiving I doubt you will garner much support for a return to the halcyon days of £9 an hour here.

I’m not a politician, I don’t need support. Like you, me & everyone else I’m just an idiot wailing into the void, our opinions are ultimately meaningless.

It’s not difficult to realise the maths that paying a fortune in net contributions for the privilege of a massive trade deficit and handing over our government to a foreign run collective isn’t and was never a good deal for us.
As for the rest trusting the party that took us in to take us out was always going to result in BRINO not BREXIT and BRINO is just what we’ve got not BREXIT in any way shape or form.
We’re still in the single transport market and no imported EU labour needed to go home.
They went home because they wanted to drive trucks far and wide not drive a dustcart or a HIAB wagon or a supermarket wagon etc.
They obviously never went home for the money. The ones who wanted to stay for the fools gold stayed.
No one drives a truck to get rich and any wage increases are only to make the job attractive to non truck drivers. It’s not there to attract those who want to do the job of driving a truck.
It’s there to attract warehouse staff to also drive trucks thereby saving the labour costs of paying drivers and seperate warehouse staff.Ironically I admire those east euros who’ve gone home to help build the type of road transport industry that future Brit drivers will never see and can only dream about.
Warehouse to Wheels indeed.More like Wheels to Warehouse for a few extra quid an hour.
Been there done that except it wasn’t by choice and it was pence not pounds and out of the job at 40 with a broken back.
The truth is it’s a scam to fill two roles with one worker warehouse and driving.
If you are saying posters are stupid for taking your post at face value then that is simply an invitation to take nothing you say at face value, although I suspect you are simply trying to backtrack having been well and truly spanked in this debate. It must be gutting watching us get these pay rises when your own licence is suspended but hopefully you’ll be able to join the party some time.

They suspended his licence because his heads to big to fit through the cab door
But he can claim to be carbon neutral now apart from the ■■■■■ that comes out of his gob.

Harry be careful what you wish for.Something tells me that all those in Boris’ brave new ‘logistics’ sector will find that the term means working in a warehouse as much as, or more than, driving a truck a few miles up the road.Any ‘drivers’ left in the industry by then will be queuing up for any jobs left ( doubtful ) paying 9-10 quid an hour to cover the 4-5 hours POA in a shift when the truck is parked up going nowhere.

You would think, but go back to the bottom of the previous page where he’s basically said he’d be happy working for £9/hr if it meant still being part of the EU and having to compete with Latvians, Bulgarians and Romanians for the work. Even the Picard triple face-palm does not cover this mind-boggling level of idiocy. And he says he’s a “realist” .
Over 450 comments of hate on the Express article now, Oliver PJ probably sat in the office laughing his arse off at stitching up this remoaner like a kipper, and his social media empire in tatters with angry comments being fired at him from every possible direction across every platform. His reputation is completely trashed and this comedy gold thread will be legendary in years to come.

Desperately wanting something doesn’t make it true. Even when it’s your levels of embarrassing desperation. Quaint though that you think I have a ‘reputation’ to trash. Thank you. Bon nuit.

Blimey, you have a hilariously exaggerated view of the importance of this backwater. It’ll be forgotten next week. I feel a bit sorry for you that your life is so empty for you that you hang so much importance on a forum. You should leave the house more, the big bad world isn’t as scary as you fear my dear anonymous hard man

It was obviously a stitch-up job by the Daily Express, exploiting Luke’s vanity by giving him the chance to show his face while stood in front of various top-of-the-range trucks (which he isn’t actually legally qualified to drive) for the sole purpose of attracting opprobrium. More fool him for falling for it.

How was I stitched up exactly? Don’t understand this belief you and Mr Happy have.

Was the word Remoaner in the headline not a bit of a giveaway?
So by printing my exact words and exactly what I believe they ‘stitched me up’? I know you and Mr Happy struggle with comprehension but I did previously point out I’m perfectly happy with the article and accept Remoaner is just playing to an audience. So was that the sole way they stitched me up? By calling me a name? I’m not as emotionally delicate as you lads, being called a Remoaner doesn’t upset me. And upsetting Daily Express readers is a positive despite what the other muppet believes.
