Suffolk hauliers

Anybody know what happened to Enviromental Frieght Services used to work
for them have not seen any of thier trucks or containers, tilts on the road.
They were part of the peter colby group used to run mainly Italy used to do a lot
of steel . Offices at Ipswich in Ipswich trucks yard , Drivers were based all over the place.

I believe they have an office in Great Blakenham nr. Ipswich. Had one of their swapbodies on about 3 yrs ago when I was working for Harwich Express. It was a one off spot hire job we got through Mezzario to tip a load of timber in Colchester.

im sure a couple of guys i know went to work in the office there, but no idea what happened, proabably another company who was here one minute and gone the noxt, unless someone knows different…

Fred Lay I remember was an owner driver with this F88,he later went on to own a White Road Commander, which I think was in the same colours.

Does anyone remember him or have any pics of his White?

Anyone know what he’s up to now?

Another old Suffolk haulier from the past, there is a link to what is now Bacton Transport I believe through James Downie.

PROWLANDS:
