Pulled in before it’s like a building site. A building site with brand new laid out area for caravans. Making way for this was the truck park and it’s very tight to even turn into a bay let alone get out of one.
Ps I know you get ‘fined’ for using a coach bay but would you get a ‘fine’ for using caravan bay.
Probably “upgrading” it, they did the northbound recently. I haven’t used SB for a while, I tend to stop at Gloucester for a 45 down that way.

Running out of immingham, it’s a bit tight to make Michael wood, Gloucester is a handy buffer 
strensham if I hit traffic on the way down…hop wood park if I hit ALOT
I guess like most motorway service areas they’re catering for those who bring in the most revenue, and its not truck drivers.

Trucks must be getting slow, I used to do Immingham to Avonmouth in 4 1/2 hours but it was tight to do
Our yard to Michael wood is 4h20 on a clear run. I do sit a couple clicks off the limiter though.
Christ I went there today, vowed never to go back. Spaces were tight and awkward and the road surface was terrible…almost spilt my coffee.
I quite like Strensham southbound as you can actually park close to the services as opposed to most where you are made to park about a mile away.
The new shower block on the n/b side is spot on,cracking showers.
Roafchef’s owners changed last year so they have a few quid to ‘invest’ on parking area’s, toilets, showers etc, Let’s just hope people don’t wreck them too quickly.
There is/was a problem with traffic queing back onto the motorway too frequently which they are trying to address.
I suppose they need to up their game with a new MSA down the road

Tried to park up @ knutsford South a couple hours ago to shelter myself from the ridiculous traffic that was crawling down the road at the time but Half the HGV spaces were filled with caravans, motor homes and even a van. . . A freaking van!
Go park your ■■■■■■■ van on the car park pal or get yourself a HGV and THEN park your lorry in there!
Had to crawl down to sandbatch in the end, bloody holiday drivers and their terrible road knowledge!

I was in Strensham n/ b a few weeks ago & can only recall the usual showers in the ladies , which weren’t up to much when I last saw them.
I see trucks parked for the night on the h/s from exit s/b how do they stand legally?
Quite clever, get away from cameras the motorway is well sectioned off so very safe and no cost but still looks like a h/s?
