hi all,
a couple of owens’
loaded with alluminium coil.
somemore of rward’s f89.it’s a shame that bloody window is in the door,it’s quite difficult to blank that off successfully.

hiya,
Those Owen’s motors look a treat none of those silly lights and cowcatcher thingy’s just a very tidy honest hard working motor fancy gear looks ok on motors that are only taken round the shows not at all practical on grafters.
thanks harry long retired.
My dad drove for Owens for a while before he passed away . But the long
est he ever worked for was for Joints .He really enjoyed it there and the memories from that time was great. It is 11 years too the day that he passed away . As it says on his head stone always remembered never forgot .RIP dad . Tony
Another model, this time the Steyr 91S31 used extensivley by Walls trucks of Newport for many years.

People say there’s a bit of jealousy when otherrs start picking fault…its a very nice 89 and IF it was all origanal
it would be a bleedin mircol…spray her up…top her up and rev her up and lets see her at some shows.
what is the paint job going to be…

I’m not sure yet, I am going to spend the next few months looking for parts [including Europe] so I’ve got time to think. I have already been offered a gearbox and doors. I’ll get her as original as possible. I may have missed out for Gaydon but will have it in Carmarthan truck show in July as it is. ps. I wont be beaten by it.
