don’t think this firm has been mentioned yet?rhys davies are a long established firm from taffs wells near cardiff.i remember one of their f88’s on the welsh tv news many years ago, coupled to a box van trailer and filled with loads of drunk rugby fans going to scotland to see the game, try doing that these days!

On the main line to Barrow past what use to be Lindal ore sidings there is near new Furness engine 250 ft.down in an old iron ore mine shaft! It went down in the late 1880s and the crew just managed to jump clear! it was so far down they just filled it in and re-instated the line.Local gossip has it that it is running around underground still!! cheers dennis.

hi neil,
she’s a 1992 extended hood 379 peterbilt, powered by a sweet sounding detroit.i took her out and gave it big licks and she still wanted more
,jeff bought it three years ago from the owner of a bodyshop in kent,he had imported it from the usa in 2004.
i was amazed that jeff had owned the truck so long, yet i had never seen it.
hi andrew ,it certainly looks the dogs danglies.

hi graham,
yes i was very impressed,we created alot of interest cruising and jake braking around mid-glamorgan tonight.she has a 60 series? detroit in her, sounded awesome
.four over four fuller in her,i may be wrong, but i felt that she was higher geared than mine
so where has he been hiding it then?
Coops, this is the 3rd try at a comment…
I am not having any of this!, I think its eiither:
a) you have been messing about on ebay USA again, and clicked on the wrong key
b) the buggers are breading
or
c) Mrs Coops has said, if you can t beat them join them, and has bought one herself, can just she her in the local Tesco!

he keeps it at his house in port eynon,i didn’t even know about it until he (jeff) came up to me in this years carmarthen show and started chatting to me.he now wants an american pic-up truck so he has asked me to ebay the peterbilt for him.

ha ha ha,steelboyf10,you do make me laugh m8
,the long suffering mrs cooper (away on holiday @ moment) would really spit here dummy out
if she came home and saw two of them
.
Don’t think Mrs Cooper would go for your explanation of but this ones got a differant engine and gearbox dear, storage would be ok as you could work a system of one in the bodyshop and one at the house.
