IN THE MID-80’S RAYMOND’S WERE DOING ALOT OF WORK OUT OF METAL BOX NEATH,THIS FODEN WAS JR’S SHUNTER,SEEN HERE ON THEIR RECOVERY TRAILER,BECAUSE THE PLANT WORKERS COMPLAINED ABOUT THE SMOKE WHEN THE GARDNER WAS TICKING OVER!

your hand to sign writing ! Is it just me or do the older trucks just seem to have more character. Having left Cardiff 18 yrs ago,to live here in central Florida,

thanks for that.we have had a couple of fantastic holidays in florida.i love the aemerican trucks.i wish we paid florida prices for uk diesel . we stayed at cardiff by the sea once also (being welsh we had to go give it a look),in southern california.

july 2007 one of the wetest summer months in the uk ever and the hundreds of competitors at shepton mallet parked their trucks on the hard standing,but one of owens’ decided to be different!!!
Saw this one of theirs, at Aberaeron,back in June.
this is the 143 500 that andrew thomas asked us to restore in memory of karen thomas,she passed away very suddenly on xmas eve 2008.
