South Wales Hauliers sixties and seventies onwards (Part 1)

I agree with you , this abortion was the last Foden I had , It was a let down from the previous three we had, I sold the cab & steering bits to a pal of mine at Perth, & cut the rest of it up, we only ran it six month, I was glad to see the back of it, the whole design was rubbish, they must have been ■■■■■■ or something like that at the time. Regards Larry

   batman and robin.usually when i go and look at a 20 year old motor,it has an odd tank and mirrors,or as happened with my f88 11 years ago,a string vest version of the cab    ,this motor is a prince,i was amazed at the level of care and maintenance.she could go back to work,in fact she will be tomorrow morning :sunglasses: .until this morning i must be the only truck anorak who had never seen this truck working.lots of guys on the show circuit had told me they saw it out and about over the years, from scotland to cornwall.

Fair play to you Martyn, no hanging about. As Andrew said you got to go through this bit to get it better. I remember it as the ‘be brave and ignore the doubts’ stage.

Keep up the good work, and take lots of photos.
Neil.

Is the drivers seat origional or is it a modification? maybe it is an authentic “Joints” seat !! No wonder Martyn walks “like that” if he was forced to sit on a seat similar to that one !!! Anon II.
