hi all,
a customer of ours is looking to buy a restored 4x2 “plastic grille” volvo f86 tractor unit.they have a sensible budget and outlook,the entress one below is the type and similar age that they want.if anyone is aware of a very well restored f86 of this type for sale,can they please contact me.

I never knew that Dodge used double drive Larry I always thought they only used York or Primrose trailing axles but they would have been no good for the mixer job eh! I bet it would be a rare beast ! But then again it probably had the Leyland engine so as buyers of Leyland stuff they would easily be able to buy the Albion axles I suppose. Cheers Dennis.

Dodge used Eaton axles some of them were 2 speed the Dodges we had all had Eaton axles. Dai cap.

Drove 6 wheeler Dodges on Ameys they ran lots of them, all had Eaton 2 speed axles.

Hi all, yes Cliff Aberbeeg is correct. It later become part of Welsh Brewers/Bass Charrington. Last time I was there it was a distribution center, the beer coming from Cardiff or Burton on Trent.

Daibootsy great photos as usual. That Karrier of David Morgans looks as if it could be in a BRS yard with the Birds Eye motor next to it.
