Info Needed
I purchased this unit from Punch Precision, Bridgend Industrial Esatate approx 1975, It was going for scrap
and I could not let an 8 cyl 300 bhp Gardner go to China to power a junk, I had the tractor for two years, but it was
to high to fit in any of my sheds, and was suffering from outside storage, and I decided to sell it, which I now regret
Anyway does anyone now its history in South Wales, prior to Punch Precision,
Who operated it? where did it work? I would be grateful for any help or info.
Richard

A lot of work gone into that Andrew, nice job though, looks as good as new.
Thanks for the Pembrey photo’s, have to agree its not the pro’s that make the races its the every day guy running an ex front line motor. Don’t know if I would want to race one I was making a living with though! A little to risky.

Regards Paul

I could be mistake, I often am, but that c series would have started live with critlows from mow cop in Stoke, he a quite a few I’m shaw that was one, was there any bright yellow bits on it anywhere, his were yellow cabs and red chassis if I remember right, and I think e&e from Stoke bought most of his old ones when he packed up, like I say I could be wrong, but then again I could be right

All the best for the Welsh rugby team when they play France to-morrow!! I have always been firstly an English fan and secondly a Welsh fan but I’m ashamed of the English teams antics,no need at all, that’s the footballer nob heads job!! From here on in I’ll always support the Welsh lads (as long as there isn’t a Rugby league match on which is 100% better than Rugby Union!! IMO.) Come on the Boyo’s for to-morrow don’t let le frog beat a home nation!! Cheers Dennis.

heres the last two for now, so keep looking for me, cant re mortage the house now just done that to get these four off ebay. ive put them in bubbs’ thread as well

I remember a haulage firm Parfits they used to get up to Newcastle, the firm I worked for Smiles used to load them back with firebricks from Henry Fosters at Backworth, & they used to give us return loads as well, I sure it was run by Mrs Parfit ?, they had red wagons I think, any photos about.
