Hello all
Its nice to see a vehicle that you sell on for preservation, actually restored and working in the hobby, I sold this vehicle in April
2007, and three weeks later it was for sale in one of the magazines, someone made a fast buck :imp:
However the t/unit appeared in this months Heritage Commercials, looking superb, and on contacting the owner,
I was told that it has been restored for the last two years, and performs very well
Well done Blakemans your 4 wagons look superb
Richard

■■■■ off!,you cheeky ■■■■■■

Her’s one to make your eyes water Martyn! I can’t re-call which Mercedes plant I took this shot at but it was on one of the trips I made to Germany as a guest of Merc’s,But this Merc symbol was way up on that wall and must have been 50ft.in diameter or more,it was Gynormous!!! Cheers Dennis.

And just to prove that I wasn’t totally hostile to Merc tractors prior to us buying the 1844’s here’s a shot of a new demo that we ran for a while.Double shifted the ■■■■■■■■ of it,had it doing 3800 miles a week for a month!! Cheers Dennis.

I’ve “dug another” Merc demo out that we ran in the late 70’s,I can’t recall what spec it was.Blue and white were the Merc colours then and for what it’s worth none of them could touch the Scanias or Gardners MPG.Cheers Dennis.
