Hi Andrew I used too drive one of these for a firm delivering to farms it was a great little 7-5 tonne truck and it flew ! mind you when you got to 70 mph the limiter kkicked in and mad the acceloretor pedel come up. It was weird at first but ok when you got used to it. Tony

cool model dai mate :sunglasses: .jeremy davies called into work yesterday,his dad bernard davies ran a very smart tipper fleet for many years.i managed to scrounge some photos,thanks jeremy.

This shot may “draw some flak” Andrew,but never the less here goes. IIRC it is a load from LLanwern for Dundee or somewhere else in Scotland.It is on a secondhand trailer ( our fleet No. 66 ) prior to it being shot blasted and painted the year would be circa 1976/77. Cheers Dennis.

Andrew,was it CV Sales who were the AEC agents in Swansea,not far from W G Davies’ yard at Morriston.If so,who were the AEC agents in Cardiff,Penarth area? Was it CV Sales as well?
