Some 'proper' dafs

Here you go Dave , your little 2100 .

At last I’ve found a couple of photos of my old Daf. Now all I have to do is work out how to use my scanner.
There are times when I wish I was born fifty years later!

Hiya if you look around you’ll find lots and lots of DAF,s

M&C Jamie:

This 1983 reg 3300 was built for the Turkish market, but was sold to the UK instead.
I cant remember who the origional owner was, it could have been Mondials of london. It was later owned and operated by Alan Johnson of Braintree, who added quite a few mods such as: Cow catcher, two six hundred litre diesel
tanks and a pair of large boxes behind the
cab with the batteries in between. He also
had fitted heavy duty front springs which
raised the front by nearly a foot. He

used this truck for quite a few years running to the Middle East and then to
Ru
I bought it from Alan in early 94 and subbed for him doing Kepstowe’s work to Russia for a couple of years before buying a space cab 95 which was on air and made the job a bit easier. I later sold this 3300 to a turk who exported it to turkey.

I really really like this one, this is how a lorry shuld look like!
Got any more pics of it?

Hiya i saw Keith many times with his Daf it had two axles under the back end but if it was double drive or not i don’t know. the only time
i saw the Daf parked up was when i took the photo. it was cold and snowie so i never looked underneath. i take it you’ve noticed the
extended cab.i believe it was modified in Turkey or someone said so.

I saw pictures of this on another thread some time ago (DAF 2800 thread perhaps…) and was impressed with it, especially as the caption underneath stated that unlike the usual 3300s, which had ZF sychro-boxes, these Turk-spec 3300s still had 13-speed Fullers in them - including this one, presumably.
