A VERY scruffy 1991 3.9 Rangie. I like Landies etc for their “impact” engineering, if it goes wrong, belt it with a large hammer, if that doesn’t fix it fully, at least it’ll be too scared to go wrong again !!!
SWMBO has a (deep breath!) Corrado VR6; heavily modified and totally not road legal Pug 1.9 GTi track/race car (188 bhp in a car that weighs less than a ■■■ packet… awesome fun and eats Ferraris; Scoobys; the odd Porker and gives Caterfields a run for ther money !!), she ALSO has a Rover 216 1.6 VP as a bimble about in car, but as a “mid-life crisis” beastie, she’s just bought a Lotus Elise 111R … GOD it’s QUICK!
innit:
my car is a ford mondeo ghia x,and for my past time is a 1968 scammell trunker which i,m trying to restore to its former glory it,s looking a bit sorry for its self at the moment but the engine runs, and thats about it but its getting there very slowly
Toytown:
I love that little digger & transporter kit SPardo - could have loads of fun on the garden with that one ('er inddors might moan though!!)

Funny thing that Toytown, La Patronne here seems to think they’re just for fun. Got no soul.
Don’t they realise that it isn’t a sin to have fun working?
It is a 1961 Bristol MW5G bus with a body built by Eastern Coach Works in Lowestoft. We have owned it for 16 years or so now and restored back to this condition. We are out several times during the summer so give us a wave.
We also own a 1948 AEC bus and a 1970 Leyland coach.
this old girl stood for 5 years i belive and got this back to the yard and chopped the wrecker of the chassis to put it back to a unit again but would not start its got a 680 leyland engine so the starter got overhauled put it on. and started loverly…its got no air tanks no air pipes for said tank.electrics are shot…tons of work to go but i love it
Top motor although a little plastic inside does loads to the gallon and is really handy being a diesal when you park next to the fuel bunker…ahem only jokeing of course!!!
Top choice…I had the 1.4 16v petrol Fabia til last month when I traded it in for the car in my signature.
brit_mark:
I asked the firm i work for if i could borrow a motor,as my DG as blown hers up.And she needed mine for work.
This is what they have lent me
Not a bad motor!
It’s funny, I’ve been thinking about getting one of those Smart’s for a while but while the 100 miles per gallon is very attractive, the fact that it’s got the engine out of a Reliant Robin with a blower bolted on the side kinda puts me off as I like to get my toe down - Toytown style - on the motorways.
I wish they did something like a 1.4 engine for them coz that would be superb and I’d get one tomorrow .
Meanwhile I’ll just had to continue pottering about in my N-reg white 1.7TD Astra van.

Fabulous machine! Do you know where it worked? Best of luck in getting it sorted. I’ve a penchant for old twin steer tractors, having taken my test in a Rear Steer Atkinson, and which I still own now
54 reg nissan navara outlaw {pickup} in black with 2 grand of chrome and cheqeur plate extras, loads of polishing to keep it shining but i love it
but now everyone thinks i,m a gipsy
gardner i bought it from a guy near stoke he didn,t do much with it ,i think thats why its i such bad shape, and he bought it from mts commercials chunal lane glossop, whether they converted it to a recovery i don,t no,by the amount of paint on it its had quite a few owners, most proberly shell owned it first. every link i,ve tried to trace its previous owners, i end up nowere iv,e had it about 2months and the v5 hasn,t come back ,and i,ve lost the guys name & address so wot can i do there any ideas,i,e wot part of the dvla do i get in touch with
I used to drive this;
until some [zb] reversed into it causing £3000 worth of damage, thus writing it off.
BTW it’s a 1990 Jaguar 4.0 Sovereign.
Then I had a N reg Mondeo Ghia (repmobile) until I recently changed it for this:
A 1999 Honda Accord 2.0i VTEC SE.
