02 plate Mazda 6 sport 2.3 16v, Same colour as the one in the picture.
1997 ford ■■■■■■ encore 1.8 tdi
has all the extra’s like little handles you turn to open the windows
looks as scruffy as hell, white 3 door
BUT
its an ex police panda car and it goes like the clappers with the economy to boot
I had to get rid of my 1993 bmw 320i because of running costs. I’m travelling a lot further now i’m on agency work
i drive a x reg 320 bmw black in coulor
I don’t get to drive a truck anymore so my work tool for distance travelling is the one we have kept for ourselves – NOT the magnum in the background, that has gone to a new home in Bristol
The rest below have all been my daily driver over the past few weeks, they come & go but I tend to make use of them until they sell, simply to keep the miles down on our own car (doing southampton almost weekly makes this a major task )
and my favourite of all (oldest one but biggest bang for the buck)
for the petrolheads: 3 litre V6, quad cam with twin turbo’s & intercoolers. The only people I know that aren’t astounded by the performance of these toys is the 18 year olds with a corsa
Honda Prelude with 4 wheel steer - she has 180k on the clock but is still going strong
just about run in then m8 - it’s japanese technology
i got told a few days ago that HOnda built the 2.2 VTEC for something like 10 - 12 years, offered a 3 year warranty & NEVER had to replace an engine under warranty. Not bad going for a little 2.2 that’s tweaked to dleiver nearly 200 bhp !
Velocette LE.
gardun:
1991 Toyota Masterace Surf 2.0 Td 4X4.
I thought ‘Master Race’ was a German trademark.
Me?
Saxo diesel and Plastic Pig, on the road.
And off road. My own design. A grass cutting, brush clearing, artic log carrier.
This was the prototype photographed for the local blacksmith who then extended the drawbar
and made a coupling for the machine.
‘The Beast’ in the background is my Kubota K36 mini-digger which has created 2 ponds
amongst many other things and is hard at work (from time to time) digging a big pond
to swim in under the shade of the trees.
Magnums, FHs, Fodens, Atkis, Leylands, AECs, Macks, and many more,
just a distant memory now
Salut, David.
I love that little digger & transporter kit SPardo - could have loads of fun on the garden with that one ('er inddors might moan though!!)
1991 Toyota Masterace Surf 2.0 Td 4X4. Japanese import.
i thought all the Surfs were 2.4 or 3 litre ■■ or is the Masterace a different animal to the hilux surf ?
I stand corrected - found one on googlingtoolboxtypething - never seen them badged as a masterace, all the imports i have seen seem to use the UK spacecruiser badging.
Presumably it’s one of these
my car is a ford mondeo ghia x,and for my past time is a 1968 scammell trunker which i,m trying to restore to its former glory it,s looking a bit sorry for its self at the moment but the engine runs, and thats about it but its getting there very slowly
This one is for fun & touring…
…and the other (more boring) transport is a 2001 Mondeo (also in black) fitted with LPG for tight Yorkshire gits like me!!! We’ve done 30k+ in 18 months!!!
This is my beast 2.5 TD, aircon, full leather, fully checker plate lined in the back with lockable bjerg cap lid, doing about 18 to the gallon round the town and not much more on motorways
A mettalic black, 1998 2.5 DSE Range Rover, Blacked out windows, 18 inch Pro-Sport alloys.Full leather etc. A well smart motor.
As its a manual I can average about 30-33 MPG on a run and 28-30 around town. At least, thats what the computer tells me!!
Cheers, bullitt.

i have also picked out a private plate for the galant. all i need to do is figure out how i am going to pick it up. i finished late tonight and my lift wont be back in time tomorrow
i might try one of the other lads
After driving Audu TDi,s for the last 10 years I’ve just bought a Mercedes C200 and I can quite honestly say that I hate it.
Gonna have to take the hit and trade it in straight away.
Back to Audi.
Wot Supe ya got Scanny ■■
I thought about a GTO for myself but “MR sensible” raised his head & I opeted for the bullet proof toyota reliability.
Might see if I can hang onto the next GTO/TT for a while, they are so much fun (plus 'er indoors doesn’t drive manuals now cos she’s got dodgy ankles, so I get it all to myself )
A Yamaha XJR 1300 sp on a 02 plate. Had it two an a half years use it every day and for holidays. Can’t see me selling it for a while.
Daxi velocette LE ! Thats the water cooled 250 twin if I remember right .Always fancied trying one of them. I’m impressed.
A VW Passat 1999 model i hate it but it was a present so i have to show willing towards it, i’m thinking of getting something better but i’m not sure what yet.
Like this but with no alloys and no sunroof
This is what i had before the Passat
a 1985 Aerodeck probably the fastest car i have ever owned and without a doubt the most luxurious i loved it which is probably why i dont like the Passat.
