So what do you drive............... when you're not working?

My own shed.is a 97 Vectra 2.0DL,which I’ve always hated, but has never let me down in 3 1/2 years of owning it.

I also drive the wife’s Micra 1.3SR,which goes like the brown stuff off a shovel, and on certain weekends, you will find me piloting this…

Tricky! Try Vehicle Enquiries at DVLA. If you’re a member of the HCVS, they have a Registration Officer who may be able to help you. He does thing slike helping recover original reg nos.

SAAB 2.3 cse sports auto on a R plate. She’s feeling her age now though, she’s not the only one!

A Suzuki TL1000R,a Toyota Hiace LWB van and a Peugeot 306

I would post pics but I am too thick to do this

Well I managed it in the end with a bit of help

This is what I drive 2001 Dodge Ram 5.9 V8 4X4 off Road Quad/ Sport Cab…and 'er um 10.5-11.5 m.p.g, .goes past most things except petrol/gas stations!

Nice TLR bike monkey  I always fancied one for a few trackdays.

Along with my SVS I have a Volvo 460 which I got a pleasant surprise today, I just got my insurance renewal for £160

Nice Dodge Cliff too :stuck_out_tongue:

Love the dodge - wish I could afford the SRT10!

Steve

Cheers for the compliments fellas, that is my Third one, probably final one too, I’ve barely put 20,000 on it since new back in Oct 2001, I bought it because I did’nt like the new style successor. I love my Dodge! My only regret was getting a black one, previous two were solid white…much easier to keep clean than black, and black is’nt the most friendly colours in this oppressive heat of 105-110 heat index we’ve had for weeks! Phewwwwwwww! poor old A/C is seriously struggling to keep both my vehicles cool enough to be comfortable.

My brother has just started selling the Dodge Ram in the UK, it’s a bit of a scary prospect though, when customers take them on Demo they fill the fuel tank, so they dont realise how much fuel they use :stuck_out_tongue:

Most of them are only used for the school run anyway :open_mouth:

Wheel Nut,

Maybe he could get me the info I need in order to get my tailights UK street legal, I’ve got some vague plans formulating about returning to the UK next year, and of course I plan to be my trusted ’ steed ’ with me, apart from the tail lights/ indicators what else is neede to make it street legal? can you get me any info, it’d be much appreciated.

I will ask the parts man to check on his pc system. It is linked to DC in the states, but if it is only a temporary visit Im sure you will be legal with flashing red lights.

Those American trucks round Alconbury and Menwith Hill dont seem to worry.

I doubt it will be a cheap fix :open_mouth:
