Hi yes the F86 was great for putting a lot of weight on it but it was under powered. Mind you my dad loved the little beast lol. It was used in the quarry at Bayston hill near Shrewsbury. It was also used too get sugar beet from the farms to the sugar beet factory at Allscott. Tony

Hi Keith,yes that’s the company,it’s all coming back to me now.No white band in 1970 and perhaps I was wrong about the low-loader .Well,it was 40 years ago.

Hi Dave/chepstowchap. Woolley’s were owned by Joblin Purser at that time, hence the blue and yellow cab. Before Joblin Purser took them over, ■■■■ Woolley had sold out to Lancashire Tar Distillers. Have got a photo of a Joblin Purser/Woolley’s D series somewhere and Dad used to have a photo of a wrecker they made out of parts from various lorries.
Do you have a photo of JUX 813E, a 2 stroke Foden S21 unit?
