There are plenty of 20 year old Nissan Micras still running around the UK on P,W,X,Y,V,M and N reg’s, no computer to go wrong, easy to park and good on fuel.
You can’t go wrong with a Peugeot 107, great on fuel.
Micro cars are definitely easy to park and good on fuel but death traps in a serious crash.
While modern over stressed complicated motors are a financial liability outside of approved used dealer warranty and PCP deal.
I’ve recently replaced the old Zafira with a '21 150 petrol, manual, VW Touran.That’s probably going to be traded in for a later 3.0 V6 Hybrid 460 Tuareg in less than two years time.
Possibly a Discovery or Range Rover if the insurance issue gets sorted by then.
That’s if WW3 hasn’t kicked off or the government haven’t forced us onto buses trains and bicycles in 15 minute cities by then.
The price increase in second hands cars has gone through the roof due to a multiple of reasons.
