Do you remember the Doman driver who did Uk every week Geoff, towards the end of clearance we used to clear in Doman,s yard also.
I do remember him Nigel and I used to clear with Domans with Interoute trailers in the good old days.
Dean
That photo of the Volvo PNG397R , the F10/12 looks as if its one of Symes of Calne ,I wonder if that photo was taken in their yard as the van also has a green waste line , they were also Volvo dealers.
Hiya, heres another pic from the Dock road in Poole,an F88 with no name leaves without a trailer perhaps he was a local,Cheers Bubbs,

the green line on it. Well spotted.

Texaco tankers were a familiar site as they had a depot on the docks.Long gone now.
DEANB we never owned this unit but it does trigger a memory cell but its a long time ago now, maybe it belonged to a company called L.G.Bateman he was from the Poole area back in the day he used to run along side ours doing traction to Italy for Colin Wilks aka Hocfun, we did loads of synthetic rubber, recycled plastic granules and Tampax from Havant. We also lots of reloads from Albini & Pitigliani from Prato this was rolls of cloth mainly going to a distribution dapot in Wickford Essex. Used to take all day to load as you were sent out on collection with a young lad to guide you round, back to the depot where they took most of it off and loaded you with other stuff, how common was that ? then you had so many T forms they were an inch thick, oh the memories, Buzzer.
Hiya, nice bit if info from Buzzer…the F88 was a similar livery to his, anyway heres a Conoco tanker heading in the Docks…perhaps he was going to draw fuel from the Texaco plant,Cheers Bubbs,

Thanks for the reply Buzzer. Re T forms some of the groupage trailers used to come up with over
a hundred T forms from Italy.

Either that Bubbs or possibly refueling one of the ferries.
Looks like the Coutances was having trouble docking in rough weather, and needed help from
the tug Kingston Lacy.
