It’s just that us mere mortals can’t keep the constant supply going like you Bubb’s,  the few I added back then used my supply up !
But here is one I’ve just come across from my mate Stanfield, who’s having trouble putting them on.

The simple answer is that nobody can match your offerings Bubbleman, at least not for long. Don’t be put off by being left on your own this stuff is magic.

I wish I could contribute but unfortunately I cant…I look at this thread everyday you are doing a marvellous job Mr Bubbleman

It looks like you’ve contributed more than you think robinswh, it took your post to push this onto page 95.
Another page closer to seeing Bubb’s make his century.

Here’s a few to help Bubbs out.Never thought about taking photos until about 1981 and then I only took a few.By this time most of the best motors were disappearing.

The last two are of an old pal of mine who I worked with for years.

That the same Allinsons that ran the S83s in the late 70s then latterly Maggie Deutz’s in the 80s ? Reckon so.

BTW, weren’t there more Allinson pics posted by the main man Bubbs earlier in this fine thread ?

Yep same Allinson’s, just a slight livery change over the years. The Albions must have been the starting point to them getting bigger lorries, after them starting out with 4 wheeler Thames Trader’s and Bedford TK’s.

This is starting to look more like Allinson’s Tippers thread now !
I’m off … it looks like Bubb’s is on his way

More Allisons is what’s needed on this thread.

Funny though how that Maggy is on an ‘S’ plate while the S83’s are all on a ‘T’ ?
Maybe the German motor was on trial ?

You needed an escape lane on Long Hill and The Cat when those crackpots were flying around in the '80’s! Definately a case of keeping your elbows in.

Pete.
