Well i never mentioned the guys name but obviously from the reply he openly admits it.
As i said he just raids the Facebook Transport Nostalgia groups with no regard or credit given to the hours spent scanning, restoring, collating, researching and adding details to the photographs which i would never have otherwise published on my feed.
As for those of you who say you never go on facebook, which i have my doubts, well give it as go as Trucknet is dying a slow death and is a far cry from the close knit drivers community site i signed up to back in 2009.

What a lot of old tosh! I’m not on Face Book either but a friend showed me some of the transport sites on there. They are littered with pictures I took myself and posted on TruckNet. They’ve been ‘raided’ as you call it and re-posted on FB. Brilliant! That’s why I posted them in the first place: to share! All this ■■■■ nonsense about hoarding material that’ll go in the skip as soon you rattle your clack does my head in. If you don’t want it shared, don’t post it in the public domain!

Well “moomooland” you definitely seem rattled by what I do in my spare time but the general opinion seems to differ to yours, why is it that if pictures are posted in the public domain they should not be seen on other sites, surely that is the whole purpose of the internet its called connection. Is it a criminal offence to be on FB, if it is no one has told me to date so I will carry on, you seem to think that TNUK is dying a slow death so why do you remain on here if it pains you so, just don’t log out and save all the stress, Buzzer
moomooland:
Buzzer. I don’t mind who shares them but Its called credit where credit is due, obviously a phrase which is not in your limited vocabulary.
How dare you, how very dare you, I have not been rude to you with my comments on here and only expressed my opinions, you have absolutely no idea to what level of schooling I have attained and to suggest that I have a limited vocabulary is just plain insulting to say the least.
Furthermore a lot of the pictures I borrow from various sources and repost for the benefit of all are already second hand so to speak as they have been lifted by someone else beforehand, also very often it is just a picture with no credits to the original snapper or poster, Buzzer
I’ve never got this possesiveness of pictures.
If you want to keep them to yourself put them in a ■■■■ album and avoid the internet.
Only pics I have taken in the distant past were of my own stuff, they are put on to share by whoever wants them.
I ain’t on Facebook either, but a couple of mates who are have told me some of my pics have turned up on all different trucking sites.
There are far more important things to worry about than a few old pics of ■■■■ trucks,. imo, but hey, that’s just me.
grumpy old man:
I’ve no interest in Facetube, Twitter, of any other similar sites, so keep the picture coming Mr Buzzer, this old man enjoys them.
We know from your av and sig, what type of pictures you like, GOM.
. IIRC He also likes these,
You’re correct there Mr Dunbar. I enjoy a nice taste of whisky (and whiskey ) At the moment I have a litre of cask strength Glenfarclas 105 on the go, very nice sipping whisky.
Difference between Scotch and Irish ■■ Scotch whisky, Irish whiskey.
And I definitely have a liking for a Mk 5 AEC.
Keep up the good work Buzzer, I’m not on Facebook so whatever you post is often new to me,
I know some of my pics have been posted elsewhere, but so what? I’m not David Bailey, to me it’s not an art form, I’m happy if they’re in focus and worth seeing. Regards Kev.
