Hi Bubbs, any chance of a better copy of the Foden 6 legger and tanker, it looks like Pentus Browns, BBM514C to me, I remember seeing it when I used to go with my Dad who was on for Dawsons Leighton Buzzard at the time, cheers, Andy.

Hello lads, hows about a few ERFs then.

Hope these are ok.

Cheers Bubbs.

Hiya Bubbs cracking photos mate!! My interest is in the M. Woodhouse shots which I would think were taken at about the time the B series was launched in 1975 .The trailers will have been Crane Fruehauf chassis with a Tasker Garstang tipping body c/w either Edbro or Harsh gear. Also visable is the fact that 2 of the 3 tractors are lettered Lancaster Transport the Woodhouse sister company . Cheers Bewick.

Hi Bubbs, I had the sister to Meachers RUD 4X, here she is, me and RUD 9X, exactly the same spec…

Hee-hee! Spot the ERF NGC there, belonging to ■■■■■■■■ Read all about it on the ERF ‘European’ 1975 thread. Robert

Larry you are Dead right - J Spurling’s did have a warehouse & workshops in West Ferry Road. They are also famous for a court case in the 50’s where they were storing Barrels of Orange Juice for a Mr Andrew Bradshaw, the barrels were damaged & there was a law suit that set a precedent about Exclusion Clauses, that is still used today.
