I can remember as a very young lad our coal being delivered by this merchant and a wagon identical to this.

the only wally’s i knew was watford A41,was demolished in the early 90’s.theres a posh resturant there now or was !!.didnt know there was an old wally’s

Re Oiltreaders’ pic of the rail wagon being loaded; I’d say that engine ran through the streets as it’s wheels are boxed in (Tramway regs).

I didn’t check Dennis, :blush: :blush: All I saw on looking it over were 4 spark plugs.
Ps the owner told me who the builder was. The experts on this site will be able
to work it out from that. :imp: :imp: :imp:
