where were the highland pics taken oiltreader ? i spend a lot of time up there in summer and they look familiar , but my few remaining brain cells aren’t working today , cheers , dave

On the A835 going north from Ullapool and before Ledmore Junction there is a left for Lochinver, a very narrow single track up down blind corners, rocky outcrops. At the Lochinver end just south of Inverkirkaig there is a largish salmon hatchery (Inverpolly Hatchery) which generates a bit of traffic including lorries, my guess is that is the road where McCallum’s lorry is. I travelled it once in a motorcaravan, not fussed about doing it again.

thanks for that oiltreader , i know exactly where you mean . i like the shot of klb fishselling motor , we stay near bervie for 6 to 8 weeks every summer , they do like some power in their wagons , nothing less than a 500 bhp . i should think that shot was taken between laxford bridge and lairg . cheers , dave
