Apparently it was bought second-hand, but I believe it had just come out of the paintshop when the picture was taken.
Not sure of its previous owner, but it has a Peterborough registration.

Hi gb1 , they did a smart job on the paintjob on the Crusader , shame they painted the mirrors though , but it does look cool .

I managed to get a look at SUH 138Y last week and she is still in fairly good order the cab would need a bit of work I couldn’t get a photo as it was to dark in the shed I have put photos of her in past life. Eddie.

Still earning its keep!

Jacky Adams ran quite a few of these, They were all powered by RR Engines the drivers loved them, Plenty of power plus the later ones had sleeper cabs the first in old Jackys fleet, Regards Larry.

No passengers then with the step ring missing from the n/s front wheel, I slipped off one once with the one I had skinned all my shin :imp:

No passengers, Cab traffic was forbidden in those days, Anyway their drivers were on trip money, So they didn’t hang about, The good old days when drivers were drivers & grafted for their wages & if may say so they enjoyed every minute of it as I did & made a few bob, Regards Larry.

Been quiet on here for a while, so here’s a couple of pictures to get the thread back to the top.
Don’t think they’ve been shown on here before.
