What a horrible wagon that was, last I saw of that it was chopped up in Hardwicks yard in Ewell

Chris…I’ve asked several lads on here over time …but what lorry would you have kept of all the fleet you had if you could have ?

Dave that’s easy ETN Titch Nutley’s Scammell Constructor, which is being restored by Dave Weeden or TRL924H Scammell Contractor.

Resting up somewhere in France

Behind the Unic on Pic 2 rests a derelict Peugeot 403. Pic 1 is a Willème; Pics 3 & 4 Berliet GAK & GBK

Cheers Froggy… I thought at first that number one was the TV Bernard, I know the side window isn’t round, but weren’t the early ones square, or was it the later ones ? The front does look very similar, were they designed by the same company…

No. In fact, this Willème’s cab was designed and built by Pelpel, who was Bernard’s usual coachbuilder, when the Bernard TV cab was designed by Philippe Charbonneaux!

Fergie 47, the tractor seems to be a Mercedes LPS with Wackenhut cab like this one.

STG…and they’re still going today…

Tankers.

The french have come up with an idea to save on driver wages, get the Cows to drive themselves to market…still at the experimental stage at the moment as the cows are demanding more feed and hay as compensation for having to take an HGV test

Just remember the DAF 2600 was launched in 1962, and think about which cabs were available on both side of the Channel…

Looked that was upon a time a luxury coach built on a Citoën type 45 chassis. Probably the cows had noticed it.

Fergie47:
Not a clear pic, but any idea what wagon this is…Froggy or Micheal might know ?

Looks a bit like a pegaso, but not enough.

Pegaso alright. Here’s a pic I took of one dumped in a corner in Pamplona just after Spain entered the EU by whom they were paid to abandon their stock of old lorries.

I’d say it’s a German truck, possibly Deutz or Kaelble, but certainly not Pegaso.
