Hi Boris. Most certainly do have brochures for the BERLIET TR. Unfortunately, i’m away on tour at the moment, but i’ll post some as soon as I get home, hopefully towards the end of May.
Hi, fantastic thread, as another modeller these are really invaluable. gb1, on a truck modelling forum I frequent, a member asked if anyone had a brochure for the Atkinson 400 with a centrefold of an 8 wheeler belonging to Wm Rainford Limited as it was the truck his Dad drove. I pointed him to the cover pic on your first post and he thinks it may be in there, would you be able to check? The thread is here 24thscalemodeltruckforum.co. … opic=338.0 if you can help.

Hi Voyager. Tried to get on to the modelling thread, but keep getting “error on page”. However, i’ll check through my SA400 literature, and if I have what you need, i’ll post it on here. Unfortunately there may be some time before I can do this, as it now looks like I won’t be home until the end of June at the earliest, and possibly not until October if the current workload continues. Likewise to everyone thats requested particular brochures, please accept my apologies for the delay.
I notice you have managed to get on there and Joe has spotted it too (he’s the one I was asking for ) so thanks very much for the reply. Hope you get home soon!
the original t45 range 1980
The Mk2 ‘D’ series
gb1:
A few more from the BEDFORD collection.
…and I thought this one was interesting. Think it’s from about 1982.
A nice interior pic of the TM to add
I think the driver of the Buffalo ‘lost’ the back end going round that bend
Defininetely handy- that it will couple up to a 40 footer
Sorry its been such a long time coming, but i’m finally back home now, so hopefully i’ll get a few more brochures put on in between Christmas shopping expeditions!
Sure someone mentioned Berliet, so hope these are of interest…
Great stuff, those in cab shots are particularly handy from a model makers point of view.
Hope this one is of interest. I’ve never had the pleasure of driving one, but it looks like an airy cab.

Sorry its been a long time coming, but I believe this is the one you’ve been looking for.
What a great thread!
Some of those brochures really took me back, someone said about going from a Ford or a Bedford to a Marc 1617, which is exactly what I did, I had a D series Mk2 with Len Valsler, and went straight onto the Boots contract at DWT with a nice new 1617, what a contrast!
Later in 1989 when I was working for Geest (later ADL) on their new Sainsbury’s contract I had one of 30 brand new Leyland T45 Roadtrains with a premium day cab, ■■■■■■■ 10 litre 290 engine and a crash box. Thanks for the memories!
Something thats maybe a little obscure to many, although Ferdy at ToprunCH will undoubtedly have experience of them.
The brochure dates from 1976.
gb1 the pic’s are ace pal,i’ve been looking for the loco sleeper pic’s for donkeys years, cheers pal.
