Another one from BEDFORD, this time the TJ. Some nice pictures on this one.
Found this while going through the BEDFORD ‘archives’, and thought it may make interesting reading to some.
The list dates from 1980. Apologies for the small size, but hopefully you should be able to enlarge.
We’ve had the Bedford TK type, so its only fair that we have its greatest opposition, the Ford D-Series
Brochure dates from 1975.
Next up, the International Transtar.
Found this alternative view of the interior in another brochure.
Superb brochures do you have any AECs?

Sorry ramone, i’m afraid i’ve nothing for AEC’s, which i’m quite dissappointed about myself. Hopefully there will be someone else who can come up with something.
The nearest I have are various LEYLAND’'s, all with the ERGOMATIC cab.
Just googled AEC Mandator, and there’s several brochures for sale on Ebay. Click on the images for any info you may require.
Thanks

Sorry its been such a long time coming, but i’m finally back home now, so hopefully i’ll get a few more brochures put on in between Christmas shopping expeditions!
Sure someone mentioned Berliet, so hope these are of interest…
Cheers Graham Didn’t realise most of the interior trim was the same as in the Transcon so it was true- the only thing Ford made on them was ‘the profit’
Something from FIAT today - the 684N-T

Hi, fantastic thread, as another modeller these are really invaluable. gb1, on a truck modelling forum I frequent, a member asked if anyone had a brochure for the Atkinson 400 with a centrefold of an 8 wheeler belonging to Wm Rainford Limited as it was the truck his Dad drove. I pointed him to the cover pic on your first post and he thinks it may be in there, would you be able to check? The thread is here 24thscalemodeltruckforum.co. … opic=338.0 if you can help.Sorry its been a long time coming, but I believe this is the one you’ve been looking for.
These might help:
Straight from the archives of Atkinson Vehicles
Hope you’ve all had a pleasant Christmas.
Here’s something from Magirus-Deutz, as promised elsewhere.
The municipal vehicle is often overlooked or undervalued by us, yet it serves a very important role in day-to-day life.
Heres a few pages from a DENNIS brochure, outlining some of their products. I would estimate that the brochure is from the mid 70’s.
