Sales brochures

Back to trucks again.
Heres the UNIC Izoard 340.

Those NRK ladders at the front of the tilt would do some damage if they worked their way loose in transit!

NZ JAMIE:
G’day,

I’ve got some 2-series brochures, are you after the brown interior or the later blue-cab?

A quick look at Magirus Deutz, followed by a few others to whet your appetite.

I’ll try and dig them out this weekend and scan 'em,then I’ll put them on here.

Any preference for R-cab or T-cab?

Hey mate,
R142 sleeper cab if you have them please.
Ta mate Jamie

The nightrider sleeper conversions bring back memories.Drove a Tm ridgid that had one but it had a dual/bench type passenger seat and made getting in the bunk a trifle difficult . After a few beers it was easier to sleep across the seats.

The 142 brochures I have don’t really give any decent pictures of the interior,so I’ve scanned a 1982 brochure which introduces the 2-series…

[premium1.uploadit.org/Globetrotter//img392.jpg/img]

…of course in 1985 they introduced the blue cab…

…after a succession of brown cabbed 111’s and 112’s I had one of the new blue cabs in 1985.
It was lovely,It was the dog’s danglies!!!

Here’s a spec sheet for the 142…

Whilst rummaging through,I also found this 2-series accessory brochure dated 1983…

…and this one,complete with price list,from 1978 for the 111,141 range…

…and I found this…

which is dated 1975,and say’s it’s a 1st edition,so it must be from when the 111 took over from the 110.

And to think it all started from this…

…from a 1968 110 brochure.

If you,or indeed anyone else, wants any more info or pics then let me know,I have quite a few 1,2 and 3 series brochures.

Hiya Lonewolf. Passing by home today, but won’t have time to do any requests. I’m on the rock’n’roll tour game. Got this week in the UK, then back out to Europe next week, finishing the tour in Italy on the 22nd.
Thanks to everyone who’s asked for particular brochures. I’m pleased I saved them all, though the wife might not be so happy about the clutter! So, please be patient, and i’ll get to it after Christmas.

Sorry for the delay, but I’ve got a new laptop and having trouble posting, but here goes with a few more from Leyland.

Then theres this from the Lynx/Bison/Buffalo range.

For all you brochure collectors, there’s a guy up in Scotland who’s spent loads of his own time putting thousands of them, page by page, on to CD-ROMs which he is selling. There are 18 sets of discs available (possibly more now) covering many of the best-known truck, tractor and construction plant makers of the post-war period. Discs come in singles at £5 each or double and treble disc sets at £10 plus £2 per order for post and packing. As an example, I bought the Foden 3-disc set, which has over 1000 images dating back to the FG range in 1948 and finishing with a nice sequence of shots of the very last chassis under construction. From what I’ve seen, they’re great value, don’t take up loads of room in your loft and can be viewed on a computer or possibly on a good dvd player(but I can’t guarantee that - mine won’t!). The guy’s name is Jim Horn, he’s a driver himself and deserves a bit of support for his efforts. Contact him at - horn.chevy@blueyonder.co.uk .
