Do you remember a French outfit called Mesguen from Roscoff,I think they shipped through Poole,carried fish?

As far as i know Chris, Mesguen are still going used to see them alot through Poole and they had a depot
at Cherbourg. :wink:

delivering fruit & veg as well as being potatoe merchants,

Their livery was strikingly similar to R. A. Larkin Transport Ltd below of nearby Knowsley who
were also in the same game transporting fruit and veg.

Yes DEANB, still going strong, same livery, both Volvo and Scania user, several depots in Bretagne … St Pol De Leon and Rennes for two, hauling chilled and dry vegetables and fish from this area.

One of their artics used to deliver into MFS Maltby every week,same driver.He wore one of those Foreign Legion caps,the Kepi,and our warehouse lads used to take the ■■■■ out of him summat terrible :open_mouth: . He was a nice feller and I always used to have the craic and a ■■■ with him,one week a Citanes,next week a Park Drive. :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

I THINK they may have a depot in the UK, whether it’s just an office or they actually have wagons based there (unlikely ) I don’t know…
