Don’t hit the indicator so quick then, problem solved

The badge snobs will have a field day .

yes the knocking the lights off is a large problem so i just dont bother indicating …

do i have to do everyting around here :unamused:

Mine’s the same, cancel the indicator and all the lights go out.

And the seat belt is the wrong way round.

you sure you aint sat in the wrong seat harry … :open_mouth:

Not sure if my Maggie is the same as a Premium, but the seat belt is on the left of the seat and pulls across to buckle next to the driver’s door, which is the opposite to every truck I’ve ever driven, as well as every car.

Even after four months, I still occasionally reach over my right shoulder to put it on, but of course it isn’t there… :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

are you sure it’s the original seat? Maybe the old one failed and they stuck another one in, maybe LHD seats are cheaper?

Could be, Bazstan has just bought an 08 plate Magnum, would be interested to know if his was the same.

Do LHD ones have RHD drivers seats in them or did they just order far too many LHD ones by mistake and think “those British scummers can have LHD ones in then until we’ve used them all up”?

Saves having different seats for limited sales numbers - I’m surprised they still produce a RHD Magnum for the amount sold each year :frowning:
Its not so much the seatbelt as its awkward to use the seat controls particularly on a manual version.

What a sad reflection on drivers and the transport industry as a whole , there has not been one sensible reply to Ewans question . Despite what some people will tell you the Premium is a very very good all round truck . Only recently heard from a major transport operator who up until recently was running Scanias and found them so troublesome has started to replace them with Renault Premiums and is found them to be very good trucks . A recent article in Commercial Motor about T. T. X. Transport in Oldham who purchace 3/4 year old Premiums and run them for the same period again without many problems , which speaks volume`s .

Will Magnum production stop when the new Renault comes out?

IMHO,
the best all round driving truck out there as long as you don’t need many nights out :exclamation: :sunglasses:

I operate a 2008 450DXi 6X2 unit since middle of last year.Having operated 100% Volvo for many years
Its a good truck not quite a Volvo but Not Volvo money
Pleased with fuel consumption and ad blue usage
1 or 2 issues have arisen Failure of fan belt tensioner and governor valve
Now a clonk has appeared under cab which I think is the cab tilt ram bushes
I would have no problem in purchasing another

Very good truck for the money, far better than the old version. The thing I noticed straight away were far more grunt, auto box is great, a lot quieter and very comfortable. Does lack a bit of storage space but even doing a week away seemed to manage. Does lack a bit of room to rest the left leg and Also the trim colour does really show the dirt.

I do know of somebody who had a lot of problems with the ad blue system on their 2 Premiums, but I think that might have something to do with their storage of the ad blue.

The people knock them normally haven’t driven them or believe that driving anything without a certain badge means you’re less of a man or think that any driver who has more than one night away must have a super mega space globeline cab, But I think that says more about their personal issues than problems with the truck.
