We work, actually work and not ponce about in offices or stages like ferret face, and because we work PAYE, we’re taxed before we get anywhere near the money we have earned. There has been some tax reduction scheme for lower income folk like us, based around so called “umbrella companies” where your pay first goes to a different company as a fee, they subtract all sorts of costs, maximise any allowances such as travel, then pay you the NMW as PAYE and the rest as dodgy “share payments”
The rich get away with that sort of scheme because they have the financial muscle to sweep up any ‘pay’ as fees to an offshore business. By having the capital and contacts, they can afford the Jersey and Bahamas offices etc. We can’t. So we get caught by the IRS and walloped for back tax and fines. And still lose out more having paid the fees to the umbrella companies. Seldom ever do the rich get caught. And their accountants probably then end up swimming with the fishes.
In a way the rich do pay a tax, but it’s to their accountants who scour the tax rules looking for new loopholes. But when you stand to save perhaps £200,000 in tax by paying an accountant £10,000, that’s a good deal.
Pensioners don’t need help.We need legal action for compensation, against a typical Socialist scam, that mis sold a contributory so called state pension, that predictably turned out to be anything but.
In doing so prevented us from including the costs of a proper pension in wage demands.

There is plenty of social housing stock. it is just mismanaged. my ex neighbour was a lorry driver new jeep in the car park. hollidays 2 or 3 times a year yet they had a social housing 1 bed flat paying just under 100 quid a week rent. They could easily of afforded a 1 bed flat on the private rental market. How many people do you know with more kids than fingers taking up a huge house. Or they have adapted two houses into one.
how many of the social housing places round by you are white young people that are genuinly trying to better themselves compared to how many that are full of minorities that have no interest in doing anything to help themselves and belive they are entitled to more.
Yes there are people/families that hit hard times and they deserve a helping hand like everyone else but once they are sorted should they carry on having hand outs and an advantage over others.
Where the argument for supporting illegal immigration falls down, is the lack of explanation or common sense theory about why they risk their lives (again) by jumping in a dinghy at Calais, this after they have travelled thousands of miles through several “safe” western countries in mainland Europe.
What could possibly go wrong? Importing over 100,000 people a year (that we know of), many from countries and cultures who despise and hate our way of life and culture here in the west.
