A great business decision by management at Premier Inn, a business that understands 100% the negative image and impact of temporarily housing the world’s freeloaders and dross.

They even guaranteed the hotel could have maximum occupancy and pay more than the normal rate for rooms

Labour have absolutely no opposition at the dispatch box weakest ever in Badenoch Davey et al and it’s not about majority numbers but the lack of a proper stentorian voice taking Starmer to task and showing him up for what he is. Rupert Lowe as good an example as there has been for a long time, not a blabbermouth like Nige or opportunist like Tice. We need reform but only in the interpretatation of the word.

Badenoch deto not up to the job, she’s had plenty of golden opportunities to wade into Starmer at PM’s questions and failed admirably each time. She was the safe choice for the tories when what they really needed was a maverick type, doubt she will be around too much longer.

Tories accuse Labour of trade failure as US tariff threat looms

Andrew Griffith, shadow trade secretary, said: “This news is potentially a hammer blow not just to British businesses and workers but to his own Chancellor whose creative accounting at the emergency budget fails to include the impact of tariffs.

"Labour claims talks with the US are going ‘well’. But, if this is what well looks like, I wouldn’t like to see what the opposite looks like. The Prime Minister has so far failed to come up with the goods, he needs to rekindle our US trade deal.

“This is just further proof that, when Labour negotiates, Britain loses.”

Are you saying that you don’t regard Socialism/Communism as an enemy ideology.
Intent on imposing its will on the free world, taking a Cold War under the threat of mutually assured destruction and the casualties sustained in the Korean and Vietnam Wars to keep it at bay.
Ironically Putin being a loyal servant of that ideology and still maintaining the alliance with China and NK.
Trump obviously being closer to JFK’s dealing with that hostile ideology.
As opposed to Biden’s and Starmer’s machiavellian anti Russian pro China antics.
Suggesting a hidden agenda.

Sorry that just goes way over my head, not a clue

so many brains, so little wattage

Least the French courts have shoved 2 fingers up at the far right.

The law had in fact recently been toughened – by the very politicians who were now complaining about its application – to make the penalty for misuse of public funds very severe indeed. Well, said the judge in so many words, now let politicians suck up their own medicine.

It’s funny how whenever the right bang on about

lock her up

They only mean their opposition. As soon as it’s their neck on the chopping block, they scream foul, oppression, political shenanigans, bias , undue interference, lock the judges up, bring back despotism.

Well unlike the scaredy cats in the US failing to lock up trumpski and now vanski which would saved us all from a lot of nonsense, the French are showing justice in action. Almost makes me want to emigrate there for some real socialism.

''They '?..
Who exactly?

I’m afraid the more right leaning members on here aint fussed as far as I can see.

From my own personal pov, when it comes to anything to do with French politics (including, or even especially the EU) …the proverbial ‘‘Rat’s Ass’’ makes another appearance.

French Socialism is exactly the same thing as UK Socialism it’s one big club.

All you’ve proved is why voting will never solve the divide between retarded Socialist thinking v the rest of us.It took a Cold War under threat of mutually assured destruction to hold it at bay.
At least you’re just proving that China Joe really was a Commy asset.Like all the rest of your lot you overplay your hand protest laughably too much.

So this is Starmer’s crew’s first choice of a guy in charge of overseeing our kid’s educational standards in future.
Go figure …and draw your own conclusions for the reasons for his apppointment.

Out of interest and comparison…I wonder if Trump’s US govt,.(who are apparentlly soooo bad and incompetent to many on here, ) has a similar type figure involved in the curriculums of his schools…just asking.
Nah me either.

The sooner we get to xxxx out of the ECHR and their pathetic bloody mamby pamby hand wringing lefty policies and ways…the better.
This one is up there with the Albanian chicken nuggets farce.

An aversion to mosquitoes ffs…they should infest his arse hole with them forcibly as punishment…or is that a bit too hard line right wing for a few on here?

Oh sweet Jeezus…it s back with it’s usual and obligatory denialist and apologist stance.

Yeah I’ll buy it mate…
Oh hang on I won’t…there aint a second to none incentive.
But even if there was one that EVERYBODY could see, and that was derogatory to every one… he would deny it and put a positive spin on it.

Welcome back..Comical Ali.:joy::joy:

I am a bit confused by that reply.

Is that
“Yes, I am mug enough to believe everything that is reported in The Sun is accurate” ?
Or
“No, I don’t believe everything reported in The Sun, but am biased enough to believe the stuff that confirms my existing prejudices” ie “I think Albanian migrants are cheats and scammers but choose to belive an unverified social media post” ?

Feel free to add any options I haven’t covered here.

According to the immigration and asylum act 2002, revised on 2022, Albanian citizens are not living under fear of persecution.

The country is not at war or have a conflict to flee from, the Foreign Office advise states there is no travel ban for tourists to enter Albania.

No you aint you are firing for effect as per usual.

Ok… you are by nature a deluded mug who believes anything he he is told to believe,.and in that reply post, you had the gall and audacity to imply that I am the same as you.:joy:
I aint.

Did that help?
‘‘Feel free’’ to ask me for more info if it did not.
