We’ve had such facilities in Calais for years. They come from UK in Transit vans laden with soup and sleeping bags to aid and abet the ‘irregulars’ and to frustrate attempts to turn them back. This agency is better described as ‘anarchists’. They should commandeer a flotilla of small boats from Malta and sail to the coast of Libya to see just how the rest of the world outside the fluffy EU deals with ‘irregulars’. My point exactly, they are fit young men, possibly some may have some health problems, but why should a special team be sent in purely to treat them thereby allowing them to jump the queue of thousands of people who have contributed to the system all their lives.
Yes very true, but who approached who regarding this hotel. Did the owners (apparently a larger business chaired by Greg Dyke) go to the goverment and say
" we have all these facilities and rooms and despite being fully booked we will cancel everything to allow you to house some irregulars" or
Did the goverment identify the hotel as suitable for irregulars and twist someone’s arm, no doubt financially to allow it’s use.
It seems that in many areas local surgeries are not capable of properly servicing the locals. That has been true for years.
If extra people come into the area, the locals understandably do not want to have to give up their available slots for incomers. So extra health care is brought in.
Is anyone saying that migrants are queue jumping for operations etc? I can’t see that being said, and doubt that is true.
Is anyone saying that the staff treating migrants are twiddling their thumbs when locals are queueing?
I suspect that the extra health staff will be fully employed moving around different hostels and giving treatment at odd intervals in many places, not giving instant access at one place.

As you correctly say local surgeries etc cannot cope with demand. If my wife or I want a GP appointment we have to stay up until midnight until slots are released online and then they are for 14 - 16 days in the future. I would imagine that this is the same scenario across most of the country.
So the moment 300 strangers are imported into the community a team is employed to provide health care for them and only them.
It would not be too difficult to set up a centre somewhere where the team could be employed to take over some of the GP appointments AND provide health care for the irregulars.

when you move to a new area you go around the local gp surgeries and find one that is accepting new patients. ie they have a spare slot you aren’t taking anyone else’s place or queue jumping.
if a surgery has to bring in private docs or nurses to deal with the forced influx because they dont have any slots and then new comers (illegals) get to see a doctor or nurse before someone that has been waiting for an appointment then that is wrong.
The NHS and GP relationship is a bizarre one.
I can imagine that the Gov would employ some Drs such as those who travel around in vans doing our driver medicals to do the same traveling visiting hostels.
If they are paying for private care then they are not taking funding from the NHS.
You and I might well expect to get premium service if we were paying loads for private medical care, maybe the Gov are paying just enough to get some sort of service out of Drs who do not want to be NHS GPs for whatever reason?

So can the same organisation make the same arrangement for all the local residents that have been waiting months / years for the care they need.

Find the bit where I told you after my mate was struggling to be seen by appointment asap, was told by the receptionist, an old school friend (off the record obvs) that the recent contingent of scumbags in the hotels…( ooops the IRREGULAR migrants in the HOSTELS 
) were getting priority, over the local community .

I live 11 miles out of the city.
In my local town they are living somewhere, as we see them most days wandering around aimlessly…or maybe they just take advantage of the free travel on the bus into town.
Either way one of these pond life was taking pics with his phone, of my youngest daughter out on a run.
