Political discussions...

Steady on rr, estimating figures gives franglais the opportunity to argue the toss over them. If I could be bothered I would publish them from Migration Watch amongst others, but let’s wait in anticipation (lol) for his words of wisdom and some figures that fit his agenda, I won’t be holding my breath though.

The pubs, cafes, shops and roads are packed with under/unemployed, not overweight, under 30’s, during the working hours.IE Labour’s core vote.
Expecting over 60’s to work over 40 hours per week.Or to be euthanised by a questionable medication and ‘care’ regime to steal their pensions.

This guy is like me…he’s sick of banging on about illegal kin immigrants…

But this is what ‘they’ want.
Way I see it is we need to keep banging on about it until sonething is done.

I know for a fact that Keir Starmer is an avid follower of Trucknet for instance.

As if a right wing think-tank, with opaque funding, will always give full and accurate information.
:grinning:

BBC’s reported figures, have a thorough read franglais.

“Smash the gangs”
I am all for that.

Open an Office in Calais (France has offered facilities) and process potential asylum seekers there. Take details including fingerprints.
If accepted they travel safely to prepared facilities.
If rejected they can apply elsewhere or whatever.
If they arrive here irregularly they are identifiable through fingerprints as being here illegally and can be fast track deported.

Do away with the demand for traffickers.
Give a clear and legal route in for those who do qualify for asylum, and a clear route out for those who are here illegally.

“Smash the gangs” is just a ridiculous slogan that 2 Tier is using to appear as though he’s doing something and that he cares. As long as there is illegal migrants wanting to come here to sponge then there will be gangs. “Smash” one and another will pop up in it’s place.

In reality the Labour government have no intention of stopping them, lets face it they are future voter’s.

The deterrent is very simple. No hotels, arrive here illegally on a boat and your accommodation is a tent on the beach. Watch the numbers fall. They only come here after crossing the entire continent of mainland Europe because we are soft and give them the life of luxury.

As opposed to the unquestionable dictatorial narrative, of the self styled, self proclaimed, Socialist left.

A slogan? Of course it is.
Just like other slogans and catch-phrases “stop the boats”, “Brexit means Brexit”, “Stop illegals”. “young men of fighting age”, etc etc.

Sloppy use of words. Most who arrive irregularly on small boats, do get granted asylum.

But calling them illegal rather than irregular migrants prejudges their status. What did you say before? Here Fido!
Illegal migrants can be, and should be, deported straight away.

Again sloppy use of language. And I am guilty of using that word too.
Hotels are places guests go, and are for 4 stars, going to have some room service options linen changed regularly, good food options, etc etc.

Some buildings being used as asylum seeker hostels did use to be hotels.
Now they house 4 or more strangers to a room that used to house one couple. Might give fixed meals.
It might be the same building but it has little in common with a real hotel. Would you go here to pray? St. Michael on the Mount annexe - Picture of The Old Palace Lodge, Lincoln - Tripadvisor

As asylum seekers they have no voting rights at all of course.
As future voters? I imagine that more votes would migrate to RefUK Ltd than would be gained.

As opposed to? Tents in Calais? Tents in Turkey?

Yep
After a luxury trip in a pallet rack on a truck? Guess that is 5 star coach travel in your book?
A ride in a rubber dinghy? Guessing: a wild water trip, under a romantic moon, that a tourist would spend hundreds to enjoy?

I don’t want economic migrants jumping the queue for legitimate immigration.
Nor genuine asylum seekers being rejected.

There is a need for action, and it is clear that so long as some do not even use the correct and accurate language, we can’t even talk about what is going on.

Wow, more proof you live in your own little sheltered world. You really do sound like a political spin doctor.

The fact you are calling them irregular than illegal shows how brainwashed you are by “official” sources.

I will call them hotel’s because thats what they are. They might not be getting access to the mini bar or the spa facilities but they are getting looked after a damn site better than the pensioners who’ve just had their fuel allowances taken off them or the homeless war veterans.

So you can book a room there?
You can go and use the bar or dining room?

I know who you are:

“Head girl” for Johnson!

Why do you think they don’t stay in Turkey or Calais? Maybe because your accommodation is a tent on a beach and not a 4 star hotel. Seems pretty simple to me.

Be as pedantic as you want and try and spin it in your usual deluded official narrative but
its still a 4 star hotel.

Wow !
It is ALL there in one single post.:joy:

The implied denial of the fact that the vast majority of these freeloaders are ‘young men of fighting age’.

Now whether or not it suits your pathetic leftist agenda, it is in fact… accurate.

The desperate use of the word ‘Irregular’ as opposed to ‘Illegal’, in lefty hope of euphamising the embarrasing to them fact, into something almost acceptable.

(As I said before, the only reason they could be termed ‘irregular’ is if they failed to take a crap every morning.
They arrive here illegally, therefore they are in fact…illegal,.end of.

The denial of hotels.:joy:
Desperation here I think, an hotel is an hotel, there are excellent ones there are disgusting ones…nevertheless they remain hotels, and even as now if the use is being restricted and revised from regular routines there, they are STILL hotels…(ffs did I really have to make that point.)

Denying the hidden agenda of future votes.

You seriously don’t think Starmer is thinking of future votes out of gratitude, when they inevitably gain citizenship from his crew, after he lets them stay willy nilly? :joy:

The shoe horning in of Brexit.

You missed the ‘Tory and Johnson’ opportunity, you are slipping, and I’m sure covid would warrant an appearance if you tried harder.:joy:

‘Coming over on a pallet rack’…:joy:

Yep hiding from oppresive forces and murderers and escaping from them, how brave of them.
Or…
As in that video,.a car full of young lads on a jolly from their last home in Sweden,.after fancying an all inclusive stay in the UK for a change, and recording it all on Tick Tock.

Jeez H…It’s like a Liberal Lefty, sandal wearing, yoghurt knitting, Kumbya singing, bed wetting, limp handshaking, deluded and naive (running out of descriptive adjectives here btw) Lefty handbook guide is that,…as well as a Franglais trucknet post bingo game.:joy:

As I keep telling you mate, you are beyond help with your delusion and naivety.
I can only advise you to take a couple of minders with you on your trip to Oz to protect you from the hazards and the harsg realities of the REAL world, as you are evidently oblivious of them.

I would volunteer myself at a huge cost, but after the first day of you and your attitude, you’d need another minder to protect yourself from me.
:roll_eyes::crazy_face::joy:

Which UK.

So franglais, the reason I posted the BBC article earlier and again here isn’t / wasn’t to create a ding dong about slogans from Starmer or when a hotel is or is not a hotel.

Buried in the article are figures showing over 80% of arrivals in the 12 months to June 2024 were male and when ages were recorded more than 40% of those ranged from 25 to 39 years. Given many arrivals have zero identification those age figures are pretty meaningless, there shouldn’t be any disputing the 80%+ males, oh hang on, maybe so nowadays!

“More than 80% of small boat arrivals in the 12 months to June 2024 were male and - where age was recorded - more than 40% were between 25 and 39 years old.”

Yes. OK.

OH sweet Jesus…seriously?
So now he has took an hour out of his life to define a hotel by research.:flushed: …just to prove his (heavily pedantic) point, that they are not staying in hotels technically .:joy:
So in essence if it does not do a cordon bleu menu on a Wed night, and a weekly dinner dance and bingo as it always used to…it is no longer a hotel !! :joy::joy::joy:

Yep, post of the year 2024, you have excelled yourself this time mate,…and even surprised .ME.

Hooray!
Our English language expert now seems to accept that just any old building is not a four star hotel?
So, will you now be referring to hostels (accurate and 7 letters) or to four star hotels (inaccurate and 14letters)?

And also
“young men of fighting age” 22 letters.
vs
“young men” 8 letters.
