Spot on, if they’re unmarked they will usually try and bait you in to taking up the gauntlet in the wee small hours.

Saw a plain white, Mercedes Vito on M5 on Friday, blue lights flashing from around the number plates. How many of those vans are flying along at any one time? You never know where plod is . End of!

Dyfed Powis police did it to our car whilst on holiday in their area in 2009. They actually did it out of spite because I would not tell them who I was which upset them no end!
The next day we were stopped as they had put an ANPR stop on the registration…as i wasn’t the driver of the car, they still didn’t find out who I was
