I bet I drove C207 before you did!. We made the alloy checker-plate rear mudwings for the 6x4 units, and I remember C207 PEG coming in with a white cab, before it was painted in PHH livery. I have lots of memories of PHH, Laurie Elson was a very good friend of my fathers, then there was Cliff Stapleton in the transport office, and ■■■■ in the workshops - oh, and who can forget Colin Goodliffe(who always seemed to wear a bennie hat…). I have posted some pics on Flickr of some PHH low-loaders being straightened and modifiied, and I have some pics of C207 when new too somewhere. To answer your question, I’m sure C207 was last seen in 1996, and went for scrap soon after.

I’m having a good day today… this one’s from marcus22’s scrapbook collection. Hope you don’t mind me putting it on here.
Can any one remember Big Ron, he worked for several companys around Peterborough, Kennys, Thorys, Hutchinsons, and a few more back in the 70s and 80s. The last I heard of him he was working for himself, but this was a good few years ago. He probably would be retired by now. I knew him for years but never knew his surname. Regards to all Haddy,ex Perfects Gt.Yarmouth.

I seem to recall a company called Fenland Transport with a similar livery as Kenny’s,used to see them in South Wales regular, any connection?
Fenland transport was in Thorney owned by either Briggs or Spriggs family who sold up to Ken Thomas which is where thomas got his colour scheme from (they were previously red) and Box o Freight took over there depot on the side of old A47
