Roger Breaker:
Oh and i’ve posted this on here before, but there’s a Scottish (i think) FH Globetrotter XL kicking about with GL03Y XL which i think is good, but i guess GL08Y XL is available now, anyone seen that?

GL03Y XL was is on a 500 fh and probably still is, which belonged to Charlie Lauder of Dumfries. Been sold on to a guy who is stretching into a rigid. Lauder has replaced the volvo with a t cab scania for tipper work.

The reg on my old truck was S80 RCY.
It was a 580 so that is what the first bit means, and the second part is the owners sons initials.

If Gordon Brown owned a car would it be AR 50 LES?

Sure I seen it on a black range rover a while back

The Highway Man:
There was a 4x4 in my neck of the woods driving round with the VRM: M1NGE, always made me think, “What a prize f4nny!” :sunglasses:

That used to be on a Black Range Rover around Rochdale,
I have had M111GES spaced to spell out ‘Minges’.
I got out bid on B10W ME a few year back.

A mate of mine had BOD1E on his mk1 Fiesta, with DOY1E on retention, he sold the pair to buy a 3 bed semi cash as a first house in the late 90’s.

Local guy who does the rallying called David Bogie has the plate BOG1E on his metro 6R4.

B1 GFH (B1G FH) used by VOLVO UK on their demonstrator, as seen in this weeks CM :sunglasses:

Aberdeenville is just full of 'em…

My wife bought me a private plate a couple of years ago for £500 from DVLA site, and I was offered a £1000 for it a year later from a number plate dealer!! :open_mouth:

Got no plans to sell it although I did get a nice reminder from a man from VOSA in Exeter to say he had seen my car in Devon during August and that, in his opinion, the windows were tinted beyond the legal limit and by the way, your number plate was illegal due to the lettering being spaced unlawfully!!! :unamused: :unamused:

And most people just send a postcard from Devon!!

I have seen TRY 1N on a Bentley a few months back. Looked pretty good.
A bloke bought the number plate F1 earlier this year to go on his SLR. The number plate cost more than the car!!!

The first personal reg i noticed years ago was on a wrecker . . .TOW 11N

Well i actually wanted B111MAN but they said that the B111 numbers were never for issue. God knows why. I have L66RDB on Mr.Vain, L cos it was the oldest prefix i could have with number 66 which is my house number and RDB cos mine and my wifes first initials and surname but also at distance it looks like ROB. Her indoors has plate too. Just need a plate for my pick up, any suggestions?

always wanted S1 MON but i guess several others do too! (££££££££!) I have seen S1 MNN on the A47 a couple of times which looks pretty effective. There must be several _ _51 MON’s about but i’ve not seen one personally

S1MON belongs to a guy in Leicester, has a small business called NOMIS Computers. Don’t know what he drives now but it used to be on a fairly normal Mondeo.

i got L8 LUG on my car cost me about £400 all in i’ll never sell it :sunglasses:
