out of interest,i found my plate on the dvla website…£75,000 for dam 14n.
looks like i wont be getting that then. 
i found one for my wife though le51ey r for £199.
our old firm used to carry a lot of "rlt"plates(richard lawson),while some in the current fleet sport "spt"suffixes.
The plate I want last time I saw it was over thirteen grand, now thanks to le credit crunch is down to just under ten grand

Over 10 years ago mine was £360 including transfer fee - bought by the Mrs for my 40th - K55 ROG - now been on 3 cars I’ve owned
If you think that’s sad - all the cars have been bright yellow !!

as a young lad i remember local ford dealer PW Millar sold 2 brand new cortinas both GLX nice top of the range and at the time was quite innocent

the reg ?BO used to signify our postal district in Barry cos my dad had C69FBO not funny in any way but used to embaress me to be seen in maestro with 69 on the plate
