got told by work that we have to remove the pelmets we have on our windscreens,
asked the boss why and seemingly vosa stated it impairs vision some of the drivers pelmets are only about a inch and a half deep,stated to boss what do vosa think we are doing on the road plane spotting.
Frilly ones should be banned anyhow. 
IMO I think if it you look out of you windscreen and if the path of the wipers is blocked then you are suppose to move it

I’m an agency driver and a few wagons I’ve had recently I’ve taken the pelmet down, partly because of this and also because it irritates the ZB out of me.

i’ve got a fh, and when the visor is down, it would be well below pelmets etc.
i don’t go in for the whole pelmet, dream catcher stuff, not my cup of tea, but, if thats your thing, go for it.
Well I was informed by a Vosa officer that they were telling drivers to take them down because they were now enforcing taste and as all pelmets are tasteless then that is a gv9. But my nan has offered to buy any that are going spare because she supplements her pension by making those toilet roll dolly things which she then sells at the church jumble.
hehehe, well I suppose net curtains are out also, mind you, you can see out of them but it may be difficult to persuade VOSA of the advantages I suppose.

One is factory fit and has been type-approved and the other is just worthless tat bought by numpties at truckstops.
