Well the DAF Does have a Dewsbury Reg. Regards Larry.
Hi Dean, I don’t think David ever used it for scrap but I think Graham’s son may have taken it on as an o/d and ended up rolling it maybe at Bath not 100% sure. David did have an F12 tag I seem to remember but this was after my time. When I catch up with Graham I will find out. Be nice to see a picture of that. The Daf was rolled when David bought it I seem to remember.

Anyone recognise this DAF 1900 as cant make the name out on the door and also anyone confirm where the pic was taken, looks
like possibly London ■■3
Can remember seeing them around but dont recall the name of the owners. I think they hailed from the Dewsbury area
The Dewsbury daf is James Wilby’s
Eurofleet were based in Thrapston I believe, quite a big Company in the day.
JAKEY:
Dean ,the ERF in Marshall E wilson livery was run from Wheatley in Oxford, they had a small fleet which ran in contract for Chinnor Cement.
Seem to remember Wilson also running out of Crendon Concrete Jakey.

Morning Rob, I cant recall seeing the DAF do anything but pull the traction engines about. To be fair you know alot more about his fleet etc.
Nice to hear Graham is still about he was a nice bloke. Lets hope he has some pics as would be intresting seeing them.
Did Dave get rid of all the artics on scrap as later on i can only remember seeing roll on roll off 8 wheelers ?

Australia cattle haulage with a Leyland Buffalo. I wonder if there are any Buffalo’s that have survived ?
Survived? They’re breeding, hundreds of thousands of the bu66ers in NT…

Indeed there are. I had a flat in the NT once. Whilst changing the wheel I noticed a thumping great Buffalo standing about 20 metres from me observing the scene. By now the jack was up and nuts loosened so I carried on. Slightly faster than I intended! I was a touch nervous but finished uneventfully and buggered off.
French double-bottom job. I used to see a few these in France.
