Hi Dean, Kammac Logistics are from Skelmersdale ,about 6 miles west of Wigan, on the M58 Motorway.
Whether they are still in operation, I do not know.
The Lambert artic from Southampton reminds me of Les Fuge RIP, Les was a Night Trunk driver with
Robert Baillie, based at Horndean, and his Atkinson artic, reg No 5505 ET, was the first vehicle that
I drove for the company, early 1970. His brother, John Fuge was also a Night Trunker for Baillies.
In later days, Les joined Lamberts, and as far as I know, remained with them for many years.
Cheers, Ray.

Morning Gazza now you mention it that rings a bell and would explain the photo. The DAF would have been heading to Poole docks to
collect a loaded trailer. Heres one of Greenwoods Fodens with one it has picked up.

Thanks for the info Chris, heres one of Berks in an advert from 1973. With regard to Harold Wood i am sure Graham Edge mentioned they
were the largest independent tanker haulier in the country back in the day with hundred of motors.
Posted this pic the other day and have now been told it was owned by Richard Croake Transport who originally were from Hoarwithy
near Hereford and worked for a large potatoe packer near Bishops Frome. Later he had a yard near Ledbury.
