Hello Dean , Yes that Baby Scania looks like at some point it was on the rental fleet , most likely after it was three year old was transferred on to the general haulage fleet , it was not a Oxford motor .
Thanks JAKEY, will pop some BRS stuff on,cant guarantee Oxford motors though.

I reckon you and “tas trucker” Trevor will know this company from Hereford.
H.L.Robinson Transport from 1977.
Hi Dean ,yes indeed i do remember H L Robinson ,and thank you for a very interesting article .
Truth to tell i can not remember those TMs ,as Robinsons were mainly ERFs ,hauling tinplate out of Ebbw Vale fpr such places as Metal Box Aintree ,they back loaded sugar from Tate and Lyle or tinned goods from Heinz at Wigan .
Seem to remember some of their ERFs and Atkinsons ended up with TSP transport at Skewen ,cheers Dean have a great Christmas ,Keith
Glad you remembered them Keith, will pop something on later.

Great photo of the texaco merc any idea where the picture was taken I know immingham depot had some but don’t know of anywhere else thanks
The Merc was taken between Bournemouth and Poole and looks like it was heading back to its base which was on Poole docks.
I dont know when the Poole depot closed. When i was a kid they run Marathon’s then Roadtrains so the Mercs must have came
after the Roadtrains.
Heres the sister of that Merc posted yesterday taken on the same road.
Back on page 199 i posted some stuff about the Texaco Roadtrains. Heres a bit about there Marathons from 1978.
