Sad news John. :frowning: I always really liked seeing a Pollock motor on the road with there distinctive colour scheme.

It will be intresting to see how long Gregory’s keep Pollocks colours. :unamused:

Think someone else replied to this a couple of weeks ago Dean, I know them from the Sheffield area but I know they had a few regional depots one being near Bedford in Hitchin.

Hi Dean and Kempston.
The RDB Freightlines Leyland is from Birley Vale Sheffield 12.They were taken over years ago by J J Shepherd of Oughtibridge. They did have a depot in Rutherglen Glasgow and one at Stotfold I think but I don’t know if it still applies.

R.D.B were Sheffield based at one time Dean, and Cliffords was our local dairy when I lived in Reading and their headquarters were at Bracknell.

Pete.

The transporter is from Ontime Automotive’s Volume Distribution division, which was closed around 2008 when Ontime withdrew from open car transport. The business is fully focussed on enclosed car transporters now.
