Hi, Dean,
The blue ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ Atki loaded with timber belonged to Williams & Farmer, a Gloucester company whose main business was the manufacture of roof trusses.
I did a bit of part time driving a four wheeler Leyland for them during my “holiday” working nights in a factory.
Thanks for the name “ROF”

I wonder if this Iveco is anything to do with “robroy” on here ?
Loving these pics! Robroy were based behind a garage in Sale, Gtr Manchester and ran a few motors (possibly out of Kelloggs as they were near to?) The New World TM brought back fond memories as both my late mum and dad worked at the Richmond’s gas stove works in Warrington (TI New World Latchford Locks) and the Vanplan body was made nearby.
Glad you are enjoying Paul and Marks pics chap and thanks for the comments !

Anyone recognise the Mercedes,as the initials JDT on the front ■■?
The JDT Merc would be one of John Darbyshires of Appleton Thorn Warrington. They had a large Mercedes fleet and ran a few of the bonnetted ones. I think they became part of the TWF (Transport and Warehousing faci!ities) group during the 80’s
Thanks for the name “hayday”
Thanks for the other comments from smallcoal,Chris Webb, phop and Bewick.
