Phop. One of the Peak Outlet roads is called Hinckley Court I’ve just noticed.
I can remember the main Derby - Manchester railway line through there when I were a kid, train spotting in late 40s and 50s.Am I showing my age?

Cheers Malc.
Hi Malc I know The Lads did buy one ERF Sleeper but I wonder why they didn’t get involved when they bought these two ERF “B” Series ? We had at Bewicks, by that time, got all our distance Lads into reasonable sleeper cabs, albeit some had fold down ones but never-the-less they were better than “boards over bonnets” etc. Just wondering ! Cheers Dennis.
Boughey Distribution are based near Nantwich, Cheshire and still going strong today running 106 tractor units,
216 trailers and have 900,000 sq ft of warehousing.
These five brand new Volvo FH13 460 EEV’s ran in fuel trials alongside five MAN TGX 440’s back in 2010 with the MAN TGX coming out on top.

In 2017 four manufacturers took part in fuel trials at Boughey with MAN, Volvo, DAF and Mercedes fighting it out.
With the latest Mercedes coming out on top Boughey replaced its 100 strong fleet of trucks with new Mercedes-Benz Actros models.
Hi, Dean,
The blue ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ Atki loaded with timber belonged to Williams & Farmer, a Gloucester company whose main business was the manufacture of roof trusses.
I did a bit of part time driving a four wheeler Leyland for them during my “holiday” working nights in a factory.
Williams & Farmer were timber merchants located on Monk Meadow Quay North in Gloucester, an area now covered with new housing after the regeneration of Gloucester Docks.
I wonder if this Iveco is anything to do with “robroy” on here ?

Loving these pics! Robroy were based behind a garage in Sale, Gtr Manchester and ran a few motors (possibly out of Kelloggs as they were near to?) The New World TM brought back fond memories as both my late mum and dad worked at the Richmond’s gas stove works in Warrington (TI New World Latchford Locks) and the Vanplan body was made nearby.
