Hello Harvey, thanks for your comments. The pics will become newer as time goes on chap but dont panic
still have alot of old ones. As Paul keeps saying to me he wishes he could go back to the 70’s with a digital
camera !! The problem back then was the cost of developing the pics.
I dont know if Francis Bugler sold out or retired to be honest, someone may know. Reg died a few years ago.
They both run smart motors ! Heres a couple of old ones !

Operated by Chris Miller of Preston this 1978 registered Mack F700 Reg No NFV 803T, nicknamed ‘Bonzo Bear’, is pictured here in 1979 on the A62 heading West towards Oldham at Delph Station crossroads about to start the long assent up to Scouthead.
At the rear is Volvo F88 Reg No PHY 21M to help push the load which was a 200 ton main Inlet valve destined for the Dinorwig Hydro Electric power station in North Wales.
Another shot showing ‘Bonzo Bear’ hauling the 200 ton main Inlet valve, destined for the Dinorwig Hydro Electric power station in North Wales, along Union Street in Oldham.
Due to a number of bridges the heavy outfit would have had to cross over in using the by-pass it was decided to route the load directly through Oldham town centre.
After Chris Miller packed in it was exported to Kenya but has now returned to the UK
for restoration and is seen here in June 2017 after being collected at the docks by Fagan & Whalley
