A dual c/way under a new concrete bridge, so new that none of the many shots show any traffic on it. Not opened yet?

“fryingpan” I asked Paul about locations etc. You have to remember some of these pics were taken 40 plus
years ago,so he cant remember all of them. You have i think covered the main ones,but this was his reply.

I reckon this fella is from Wales.Pennlyne Haulage Foden.

Hi Dean,
I remember free foresters on the steel from llanwern ,joint motorways bought four of their coilers in 1991.Penllyne haulage were a proper Welsh tipper operator,a real name in their time.big foden user for many years,later DAF,VOLVO and Merc.please keep your brilliant photos coming.

Penllyne was from cowbridge they done tippers and steel there’s pics on wales site blue line transport courtesy of Ron the first pic was my shunting wagon in the 80,s

A few more pics wm Morgan, entress,and a furniture wagon from port talbot ,I used to help out when I was younger w Jones removals that was driven by my friend Johnny brimfield when he was younger he is 82 now and still knows the reg :smiley:. Anybody remember a driver from entress yorkie his name was

Can anyone make out the Reg on Ewins & Sons F88 on page 18, it looks to me like one I owned back in the early 80’s…FBT 219L, but can’t just make it out.

I know Dennis was not a fan of those Spanish Dodges but they were certainly popular as we can see by
the amount that Paul has taken photos of ! I wonder if part of the reason is that they were cheap to buy ■■

Glandel concrete from Corfe Mullen. They are still going and up the same road as Beacon Hill Brick
company that are long gone. If anyone has any photos of Beacon Hill Brick please can you pop them

How the road has changed now,the Barbour F88 is just going by the entrance to Corrals who
used to be a coal /fuel merchant. All gone,and is now Sunseekers the luxury boat builders.
