The trailer was owned by B & I Line (The British and Irish Steam Packet Company)

My guess at the sed atki is 1 of Henry Smithers.
Also blue line did make their own trailers called Dragon with the name plate on the front of the trailer.
Nothing to do with B + I line.

Who wants to look at REL’s ( rear end loaders ) when you can look at this !!! cant remember ever seeing a second steer axle set back that far, bet it suffers a bit of tyre wear.
I am sure some of you boys " if you can re focas your eyes" will put me right. Harvey

After closer scrutiny of the pic I can’t make my mind up, is she a tipper or ram ejector? And is it a demountable body on her?

Funny enough Harvey i have seen a 8 wheeler Scania locally that has a large gap between the front
steer axles. I dont know why they are building them like that ? There must be a reason ?
